Hace algo más de un mes, la gente de Backpack Theory con su The Beat Tape Proyect y Scratch Magazine TV lanzaron una convocatoria para beatmakers a través de las redes con motivo del lanzamiento de un trabajo instrumental rindiendo homenaje a Teddy Pendergrass (26 de marzo de 1950 – 13 de enero de 2010).

Para participar en el trabajo, que se distribuiría de forma gratuita, sólo había que enviar una instrumental sampleando uno de los temas de Teddy Pendergrass, y esperar a que se publicara, como se hizo el pasado martes, 5 de marzo.

Evidentemente hice lo propio y participé enviando una instrumental, sampleando el tema 'You're my latest, my greatest inspiration', y ha sido seleccionado para entrar en el trabajo junto a otros 47 beats, de otros tantos beatmakers.
